    Hi Vlad,

we cannot reproduce this problem – just tried the GameNetworkSimpleExample which worked fine. Can you please try to copy the code from the qml file in <Qt5-SDK>/Examples/V-Play/examples/gamenetwork/GameNetworkTestSimple and run it on your PC to test if that works for you?

    Cheers, Chris

    Hi Chris

it was cause by not registered VPlayGameNetworkView but as for me it doesnt makes sense since it is not necessary every application will have a view

    Hi Vlad,

when would you not need a view to display the leaderboards? Currently, having a VPlayGameNetworkView is mandatory…

    Hi Chris

added VPGNView and even GameCenter but still get error, mentioned in #1 message and also

qrc:///qml/VPlay/gamenetwork/VPlayGameNetwork.qml:3604: TypeError: Cannot call method ‘updateLeaderboardData’ of undefined

    when calling default VPGNView

Also I cant see my highscore in the View. i’ve called gameNetwork.reportScore()

    regards,

Application not started on Android because:

    W/Qt (23535): qrc:/qml/main.qml:67 ((null)): qrc:/qml/main.qml:67:5: Type VPlayGameNetwork unavailable

    W/Qt (23535): qrc:///qml/VPlay/gamenetwork/VPlayGameNetwork.qml:4 ((null)): qrc:///qml/VPlay/gamenetwork/VPlayGameNetwork.qml:4:1: module “VPlay.plugins.facebook” plugin “qmlfacebookplugin” not found

hardcoded dependendance on facebook is pretty weird :(

    Hi Vlad,

did you try this with the SimpleGameNetwork example, and the Facebook plugin installed?

    Hi Chris

my code is almost cut and paste from the example

    but about updateLeaderboardData()

    and

    loadingCounter

it easier for you to check what dependencies are

    Hi

btw, any idea, why I cannot see any results in VPlayGameNetworkView

even if I sent a lot of data with reportScore() method?

according to logs it sent succesfully and I can get it back from server but the leaderboard is empty

    thanks,

    Vlad

    Hi Vlad,

I tried the GameNetworkTest again and it works as expected. The error

    “VPlay.plugins.facebook” plugin “qmlfacebookplugin” not found

is caused because you did not add the facebook plugin to your Android project (this is only required if you installed the Facebook plugin on your development PC). To get the Facebook integration right, please see the FacebookSample on Github and try that one first.

If all of that fails, please send your project to support@v-play.net and we’ll have a look at it.

    Cheers, Chris

    Hi Chris

there is now problems with facebook anymore but its still complains about loadingCounter and updateLeaderboardData. Probably this is the reason why I cant see any results in leader board

and I dont have (and not planned to) any FB account. Might this be a reason?

    br,

    Vlad

Please try to uninstall the FB plugin and then run the application again. It would be best, to try the GameNetworkSimpleExample if it works for you. If it is not working, what platform are you trying it on, and which compiler do you use?

    Cheers, Chris
