Vincent

    Hi,

I am trying to build and launch the Flappy Bird demo in OSX.

I can build the desktop version but when I launch it I have this error :

    dyld: Library not loaded: /work/build/______________________________PADDING______________________________/lib/QtQuick.framework/Versions/5/QtQuick

    Referenced from: /Users/vincejaw/Qt/Examples/V-Play/demos/build-FlappyBird-Desktop_Qt_5_3_clang_64bit-Debug/FlappyBird.app/Contents/MacOS/FlappyBird

    Reason: image not found

    The program has unexpectedly finished.

When I try to build for iOS simulator, I have this :

    Xcodebuild failed
8 duplicate symbols for architecture i386
Linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Is there something I need to configure/install ?

    Thanks,

    Vincent

    Hi Vincent,

can you try to create a new Empty V-Play Project from Qt Creator and test if that one works for you?

iOS Simulator builds are not supported at the moment, you would need an iOS or Android device for testing on real devices.

    Cheers, Chris

    Thanks for your answer.

I have the same error message with an empty project :

Is a normal Qt Quick based application working with the clang kit? You can create one with File / New Project / Applications / Qt Quick Application..

    Cheers, Chris

Yes it is normal Qt Quick app.

    Thanks,

This is not a V-Play specific error then, but a general Qt issue.

After quick googling I found this workaround, maybe that helps:

    https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-35080

You can also try to ask on the support forums of Qt Project and ask for help here: http://qt-project.org

Please let us know if you were able to fix it, or if the error remains after the solutions suggested in the bug reports comments above.

    Cheers, Chris

    Thank you for your answer.

I was able to build & run the application after reinstalling Xcode and Qt.

    Cheers,

    Vincent
