• Pressing “Google Cloud Messaging Push Notifications” puts the app in background and shows the home screen. No notification test screen appears, no incoming notification is received — seems like a bug.
• In OneSignal I press set, then request, but this doesn’t result in an incoming notification.
• Local notification works fine.

I downloaded the app from the Apple Store onto a iOS 9.3.3 iphone6.

Local Notifications work because – as the name suggests – they work locally on the device. One Signal or Google Cloud Messaging notifications are triggered by a server-side logic. For your own application, you can trigger the notifications from the server. We do not allow triggering notifications for users in our demo, as these notifications would then target every user that has the demo installed.

The demo simply also includes these plugins to show how to add them to your application, please have a look at the PluginDemo source and configure your own OneSignal or Google Cloud Messaging plugin to test them in your project.
