    Hello,

    I try to update v-play to include symbian target but why nothing work.I open v-play sdk maintenance and choose package manager.Then i tick symbian target and it show “Can’t find missing dependency (com.nokia.ndk.api.qtmobility) for net.vplay.vplaysdk.symbian” .I ignore it and click update then it just go straight into “click finish to exit v-play games engine wizard” .Nothing is downloaded or installed.Symbian is my primary platform but i cannot use symbian target.What’s the point then.

    Can you please try to include Symbian via the maintenance tool again and tell me if it worked for you?

    Is your package manager (make sure you restarted the maintenance tool) looking like this before you try to include symbian?

    If not please send me a screenshot of it.

    If it does, and you select “Symbian Target” then (nothing else) and proceed, you still get the same “Can’t find missing dependency…” error?

    Doesn’t sound like a good user experience, thanks for reporting back and giving us another chance. 😉 We definitely try to resolve the problems regrading hash errors.

    import VPlay 1.1

    “qml module not found”

    import path:

    c:/users/xxxxx/v-playSDK/symbian/SDKs/Symbian3Qt474/epoc32/data/z/resource/qt/import

    Why another issue prop up after many days solving the installation issue.After installation complete with now symbian target,toolchain and qt component installed.Now another issue as you can see above and the project is squaby demo project.I checked inside file system and all i can see is qt,qtmobility,qtmultimedia,qtwebkit but VPlay is nowhere.Which make sense why qt creator can’t find the import.Did you guys actually tested v-play.So many issue with v-play.Luckly still didn’t upgrade to pro version or else all my money is going into drain.

    Hi,

    it should be

    import VPlay 1.0

    Where exactly did you find the import of version 1.1?

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Have you never created a project with desktop as target? This needs to be done once so Qt-Creator can find our QML types.

    About a week i already found the solution.Just posting here to share the solution.It seem symbian target didn’t include the v-play 1.0 and all the plugin so first i have to install desktop target.Then i need to go into the program files and copy all the v-play import in desktop target and paste it in symbian target.Only then all the v-play import can be found.Why do i need to do the hack method for symbian target.Desktop target contain all the v-play import but symbian target didn’t come with any.One week to solve the installation issue and one week to solve the v-play import issue.Definitely not “a good user experience”.

    We’re really sorry that you experienced so many problems. Adding desktop as target for your application is never wrong though, since you can easily test/debug it there.

    Anyway, we hope you have a better experience with developing your application.

    Best Regards,
    Alex
