Hi Felgo,
Have some potential improvements for Felgo Live server view.
Maybe you already have some of them in the pipeline but lets share them anyway.

1.
Is there a way to add a button to clear debug view from the debug messages?
Similar to what QtCreator has for normal debug info tab, clear button.

2.
Is there a way to make the errors/warning, which include files and line numbers, clickable?
Again, similar functionality which exists in QtCreator debug tab, to make error moving you to the problem in the code.

3.
Something small again, but maybe there is an option to add ability to close debug tabs on live server view?
Don’t know how to close them now.

thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated.

1. Clear button is already on our list. Until we have added it, the log is already editable, so if you click into it you can select all (CTRL + A) and remove it.

2. That’s an interesting idea, we have to evaluate if this is possible. Since the Live Server is a standalone application that runs independent from Qt Creator, we need to see if we can trigger opening a File at a specific position in Qt Creator somehow.

3. The debug tab is removed if you remove the client (File -> Configure Clients). What is your use case of just removing a debug tab?

Not a big deal but if possible to add would be great.

My case is laziness 🙂
Story for me, at some point lets say I test 4 devices, but on normal developing I use only one. On a daily basis.
Would be nice then maybe to be able to easier remove the clients(or just the tabs), to not have 4 tabs which you don’t use.
Like clicking middle mouse button on the tab.
Nothing big though.
