    Hi V-play team,

Does your implementation of Sqlite support REGEXP as part of the SQL query where clause?

It’s ideal for me if it does, but if not, I can probably work around it. If it’s not supported, please consider to add it in the future as it’s useful.

    Thanks,

    Michael.

    Hi Michael,

we do support the same functionality as normal Qt 4 SQL queries. To be honest I don’t know if regexp are supported there – would be great if you find out and let us know here.

    Cheers, Chris

    Hi Chris

It doesn’t work. I get an error: no such function: REGEXP Unable to execute statement

This is not a surprise – the regex function normally needs to be defined. Not defining/providing this function seems to the default situation in QT.

    Cheers

    Michael.

FWIW it would be great if REGEXP could be supported in a future release, as without it for my word game (to workaround not having it) I have to double my database size (from 2 to 4 Mb). It’s not a biggie, but when trying to keep the file size down, anything extra helps.

    Cheers,

    Michael.
