I’ve been trying to read a file in my game but it doesn’t work.

Writing

FileUtils.readFile("<file path>")

I get an error saying “readFile is not a function”. Now in all the code it says ”

import Felgo 3.0

but in the documentation I found that FileUtils.readFile is only available from 2.17 onwards (https://felgo.com/doc/fileutils/).

So I tried importing a more recent VPlay via

import VPlay 2.18

But doing that I get the error from the title when trying to run my game:

...Qt_5_11_1_MinGW-Debug/qml/Main.qml:1 "SpineSkeleton" version 2.0 is defined more than once in module "VPlay"

 

All I want to do, really, is read a CSV file and use its contents in my game. How do I do that?

Erm, well, it turns out it has to be fileUtils with a small f, not a capital F. Never mind!
