any news on spine support?
we’re working on it. ETA is in 1-3 months.
any thoughts on how it can be used from user perspective?
as an entity? for pooling and instantiating from entitymanager?
It will be a visual component similar to SpriteSequenceVPlay or TexturePackerAnimatedSpriteVPlay.
You will be able to change the animation states, and put the component as child of an Entity. So you can use entity pooling just as usual.

but it does not cover complete spine functionality, like mesh deformation
We are in the final touches of this feature. It will support FFD, IK and also support TexturePacker sprite sheets together with all other Spine features.
