    Hi,

I have a new problem with Soomla plugin only on Android. When I call the buyItem() method, nothing happens, it blocks the UI. No callback UnexpectedError …

I didn’t change anything in my config, previously it worked and it works well on IOS.

    Hi Romain,

Are all product IDs and the store configuration details correctly set up for your app?

Please also verify whether the Plugin Integration links the required Soomla framework in your build.gradle. You can also compare your build.gradle with the new default setup for an Empty Felgo App, to double-check default settings and specified versions.

We don’t see any issues with the plugin at the moment. I am unable to reproduce the crash with a quick test. Also, there are several apps live in the stores that use the plugin without issues.

    Best,

    Hi

I have checked the settings, the build.gradle, everything’s ok, but UI is still blocked when I call buy() function.

Anyway, I’d like to get rid of the Soomla plugin because I have to implement renewal subscribtions for my projects. I’ve noticed that Qt Purchasing module doesn’t support “subscribtions’  product type. It’s very surprising and emabarassing… Don’t you plan to implement this feature?

Or is there another solution for managing renewable subscribtions on ios and Android ? (services, api?)

    Hi Romain,

the Qt Purchasing module and current version of Soomla IAP Plugin do not offer subscription type purchases. With custom Java or Obj-C code for handling the purchase on each platform, it is possible to use subscriptions with the native iOS or Android SDK. (Similar to native Android or iOS Apps created with Android Studio or Xcode).

The latest Soomla SDK version also supports subscriptions, which will be available as soon as we update the Felgo Soomla Plugin to support this version and features for usage in QML.

We can also create a subscription purchase solution for you with the purchase of a support package. Let us know at support@felgo.com in case this is interesting for you.

    Best,
    Günther
