    -OneCard Demo

    -Windows Qt5.7

    Executing Menu->Qml/Js->Run Checks:

    Gives me…

    D:\Tools\Qt\Examples\V-Play\demos\OneCard\qml\OneCardMain.qml:87: error: “deviceId” is not a member of “GameNetworkUser”. (M18)

    What’s happening?

    Hi Juan!

    There is nothing wrong. The deviceId property is mainly used internally and should not be set or overwritten in a final game, which is why it is not visible publicly. Although the property is hidden, our Multiplayer examples like the ONU demo overwrite this property for testing the multiplayer game on desktop as if it were running on multiple different devices. Accessing the hidden property will result in the message you described, because the autocompletion and QML checks in Qt Creator do not see the property.

    Best,
    Günther
