We have big issues with our QT Creator, a few days ago it stopped to display log outputs into the Application Output section on the bottom. I haven’t changed any settings and my colleague is having the same issue after checking out the project from GIT. Nevertheless it compiles and runs fine, and any changes in the qml code also effect the build, meaning we do not always run an “old” version of our game, but the newest.

 

Any suggestions?

The reason for no log output being shown, is you probably built in release mode, where the log is disabled by default. To make sure the debug library is used, clean your project before you rebuild it in debug mode. Alternatively, you can also enable logging in release mode by setting the logoutputEnabled property in System to true.

Jesus, I would have never ever figured that out by myself 😀 thanks a lot!

This was pretty weird  because with Desktop the Debug was selected so I don’t really know how i ever came into Release mode.

Nevermind.
