I am stuck at 50%. I began the installation and got to the part where I need to access/install the ‘launcher’. I have been told that there is no launcher for Linux yet. My question is obvious. If there is no launcher available for Linux, then why provide an installation of Felgo for Linux? Am I making sense or have I misunderstood something?

The install instructions say to navigate to the launcher and execute. But when I go to that location, the launcher is nowhere to be found… I feel it’s all kind of pointless to continue… please correct me if I am wrong?

    Hi John,

you can fully develop on Linux with Felgo and create games for Linux and all the other supported platforms like iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows & Mac.

The only thing that is currently not supported is the Sample Launcher. The Sample Launcher makes it easier to explore all the sample games provided. However, you can open each of the projects individually by opening the .pro files in the Felgo SDK directory unde <FelgoSDK>/Examples/Felgo/demos and run them.

Sample Launcher will also be available for Linux in the coming weeks, so then you are also able to browse all examples from 1 application.

But development itself has no limitations on Linux at the moment, because the full Felgo API is available on Linux.

    Cheers, Chri
