When I change the target to device, all the project files on the projects panel disappear. Even if I use the option of adding existing files, some headers don’t seem to be imported since I get errors with “vplayapplication.h” and “qmlapplicationviewer.h”.

Im not entirely sure how to build for symbian, could we have a guide?

    Hi,

are you using the latest stable version of Felgo (CONFIG += v-play) or daily builds (CONFIG += v-play_daily)? Symbian and MeeGo libraries are currently only available for the latest stable build, if you’re on stable there might be something broken in our project configurations.

    Thanks,

    Alex

Yes, I am on the latest stable build (CONFIG += v-play). I haven’t downloaded any daily build.

First of all please make sure that the Symbian package is is installed in SDKMaintenanceTool (see “Symbian Target” here: https://felgo.com/doc/images/qtsdk-packages.png ).

Could you then please select the Symbian target in your project and run a qmake from the Build menu and post the output of the Compile output tab on the bottom of Qt Creator?

Does this happen with an newly created project (from one of our wizards) too?

    Thanks a lot,

    Alex

Yes I added the symbian target. When I run qmake, this is the output:

16:56:08: Running build steps for project Terrorista…

    16:56:08: Starting: “c:\v-playsdk\symbian\sdks\symbian3qt474\bin\qmake.exe” C:\v-playprojects\Terrorista\Terrorista.pro -r -spec symbian-sbsv2 -after “OBJECTS_DIR=obj” “MOC_DIR=moc” “UI_DIR=ui” “RCC_DIR=rcc”

Qt: Untested Windows version 6.2 detected!

16:56:08: The process “c:\v-playsdk\symbian\sdks\symbian3qt474\bin\qmake.exe” exited normally.

Can please you check if following file exists?

    c:\v-playsdk\symbian\sdks\symbian3qt474\mkspecs\v-play.prf

    Thanks,

    another Alex

Looks everything fine so far, however it seems that the config file is not included though. As another try, could you please send us the v-play.prf file, probably it got somehow corrupted during download?

    Thanks a lot,

    Alex
