    Hi Alex,

this works perfectly fine for iOS, thank you for that hint. :)

Is there such a simple alternative for Android too?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

unfortunately Android doesn’t provide an equivalent to iOS’ launch images. If you want to have a custom splash screen you can simply use a custom SplashScreenScene which you can fade out with a timer in your qml code. You can hide this splash scene on iOS entirely if you set the timer value to 0 for iOS only, i.e. when using the System context property like here: http://v-play.net/doc/system.html#platform-prop

    Cheers,

    Alex
