    Hi Oussama!

You can use custom C++ components or libraries together with your V-Play app and access them via QML.
See here how to Integrate C++ and QML.

If you simply want to access a web-service backend you can also just use an XMLHttpRequest from QML/Javascript for communication.

is it supported for all platforms ?

coz i found only one post about this (& it’s old) and back then only desktop, Symbian and MeeGo applications supports C++ integration so did you add support to the other platforms ?

The old post is not quite right then, C++ Integration works for all platforms.
You can for example use the available C++ Qt components to implement socket communication for networking.

Using native device features is also possible: (e.g. accessing the phone book on the device or telling the device to open the maps application)
For this it is required to implement the relevant code parts in the native programming language (objective-c on iOS or Java on Android) and call these functions from your C++ code.

Could you share some examples about calling native functions from c++ code ?

    Hi Yusuf,

are you looking for an example to call Android and iOS functions from C++? Please send an Email to support@v-play.net and we can provide you with an example.

    Cheers,
    Alex
