How to I build locally and test with an Android Device?

Also, does the build server support Felgo 2.0 games?

    Hi,

to build for Android locally, you need the Android SDK and NDK installed on your machine, and configure QtCreator for an Android tool chain.

You can find a step-by-step guide for Qt5 building for Android here on the official Qt page.

    Hope this helps!

PS: Build server will support Felgo 2.0 very soon, so stay tuned 🙂

    Cheers,
    Chrisu

Are there any news on when the build server will support Felgo 2 games?

    Hi maitek,

we shifted build server support a bit back, because it is only useful for QML-only games and thus limits the usage of Felgo (which also allows you to add any native code). However, we are planning an even better approach for QML deployment to any device by remote loading of QML files.. This combines the benefits of QML (fast performance) with HTML+browsers (just a reload of code and you’re done). ETA for this new feature is Q3 2014.

    Cheers, Chris
