Hi

I am trying to create and build a new empty project for android devices, but i am not able to do it 🙁

What i did:

1-Downloaded QT5 Qt 5.3.2 for Mac (456 MB)  from http://qt-project.org/downloads

2-Download android NDK, SDK, Apache Ant and JaveSE and link them to Android

3-Download V-Paly Engine

4- When i create project i am not able to see android kit

5- When proceed with DesktopQT kit and build, this error shown up : error: Could not resolve SDK path for ‘macosx10.8’

6-And cant create new Kit for android

Hi

Finally the QT5 installed and running perfectly on my mac

here what i changed to fix the problem

1-I was Downloaded QT5 Qt 5.3.2 for Mac (456 MB)  from http://qt-project.org/downloads and this build not for android

the correct build is Qt 5.3.2 for Android (Mac, 517 MB)

2-The 64 NDK that i am using is not compatible with the compiler android-ndk64-r10b-darwin-x86_64.tar.bz2

the correct one is android-ndk32-r10b-darwin-x86.tar.bz2

It’s a shame that there is no mention of this at all in the Felgo documentation.

Thank goodness google can find this thread.

How would a person know that they are supposed to download the 32 bit android ndk!?

Does using “QT-for-Android” mean that there will be problems later publishing the Felgo app for IOS?

Hi,

we are using Qt 5 & Felgo with a 64bit NDK here just fine, so the problem might be related to another issue. Which version of Mac OS X are you using?

I’m on OSX 10.9.5, 64 bit (i7).

I need instructions to get set up for Android development. Do I need to follow the same steps that Chris thanked maysalward for sharing?

IE do I have to change Qt version from the one that Felgo set up to “Qt 5.3.2 for Android (Mac, 517 MB)”

Or do I simply have to do the additional installed at the page that Chris pointed to (Getting started with Qt for Android)?

What would determine whether I should use 64bit or 32bit NDK?
