    Carla

    Hi there,

    so I wanted to deploy my game to android and I got this error message “ QApplication no such file or directory“. I installed everything that was required, at least I think so. When I went through the forum, I saw that most of the time this error occurred, when the Qt version was the wrong one. But I believe I have Qt 5.8 for everything.

    D:\Documents\VPlay\TheLastUnicorn\TheLastUnicorn\main.cpp:1: error: QApplication: No such file or directory
    #include <QApplication>
    ^

    After installing a couple of versions of Qt ( I had 5.6 before) this warning appeared.

    :-1: warning: “D:\Programs\AndroidNDK\android-ndk-r14\toolchains\arm-linux-androideabi-4.9\prebuilt\windows-x86_64\bin\arm-linux-androideabi-gcc” is used by qmake, but “D:\Programs\AndroidNDK\android-ndk-r14\toolchains\arm-linux-androideabi-4.9\prebuilt\windows-x86_64\bin\arm-linux-androideabi-gcc.exe” is configured in the kit.
    Please update your kit or choose a mkspec for qmake that matches your target environment better.

    On top of that there appears a warning in Options -> “Devices” -> “android”: “Qt versions for 3 architectures missing” but it doesn’t state which one’s – so it’s kind of hard for me to add them.

    It would be great if you could help me!

    Thanks,

    Carla

    Hi Carla!

    As you already installed several different Qt versions, which also seems to have affected your setup, as a first step please try to uninstall all Qt versions, uninstall Felgo and re-install Felgo from scratch.

    After re-installing Felgo and again adding the Android Qt Packages with the MaintenanceTool, please have a look at your <v-play-install-dir>/5.8/android_armv7/include folder. You should find a VPlay directory with the VPApplication files.

    When you open Qt Creator now and create a fresh Felgo Project, does building for Android with the “Android for Armeabe-v7a” Kit work?
    If not, what errors do you see in the Compile Output of Qt Creator?

    Best,
    Günther from Felgo
