    Hi,

I’m attempting to use V-play to convert some of my iOS apps to Android.

In my app, I use .plist to get a long list of items that I use in my app.

I would like to reuse this plist inside V-play.

    Is this possible?

Is there an example code of how to access a file like a .plist using V-play?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi bliss,

you can parse plist files with the XMLListModel component.

Alternatively, you can convert it to a JSON file and then parse it with JSON.parse() and fileUtils.readFile(). This is the preferred way actually, because then you can easily use it from JavaScript and access all the keys e.g. with fileContent[“key”].

    Cheers, Chris
