Hi Steve,

as our current renderer is based on a modified version of cocos2d-x 1.0.1, it supports OpenGL ES 1.1. Svgs are not supported in the current V-Play version. With the next major V-Play version 2, SVG will be supported as well as OpenGL ES 2.0 thanks to the new Qt5-based renderer.

You can use any JavaScript code that is working with QML, internally we have used parts of jQuery for example.
