V-Play Team

Hi Micheal,

thanks for bringing up this question! The 2 UDIDs can be seen as a guidance instead of a hard limit for our Pro customers. You are however on the right track, for broader testing it’s advisable to:

  1. Create your own distribution certificate & profile for ad-hoc testing within your Apple developer account with all your test device UDIDs
  2. Create a publish build with V-Play Build Server
  3. Import the build into Xcode Organizer and sign it with your own profile
  4. Distribute the app with the help of HockeyApp or TestFlight (or just like in the old days via email 😉 )

This should make it most convenient for you and your testers as you do not need to wait for new devices activated within our Build Server backend from our side.

If you experience any problems along this track we would be happy if you could share the issues with us, so that we are able to further improve the testing process of V-Play games.
