Hey,

we currently do not provide any specialized components to connect to (web) sockets, the preferred method is using the built-in XMLHttpRequest method (probably not a legit solution for your game unless you’re able to use polling). There are however some JavaScript socket.io libraries out there which probably (?) work within the QML context right out of the boxm we haven’t tested any of them yet though.

If you would like to see socket.io support built right into V-Play you can probably post it to our roadmap thread, then one of our engineers could have a closer look if such an implementation would be possible or not.
