we’ve found the problem, which occurs when using the latest Qt Creator 3.1.

Please navigate to <QtSDK>\Tools\QtCreator\share\qtcreator\templates\wizards\V-Play2-EmptyProject and open the file wizard.xml.

In there, change the content from

class="qt4project"

to:

class="qmakeproject"

Now restart Qt Creator and you should be able to see the “Empty V-Play Project” template. Please let me know if that works for you.

Yes that fixes the problem on my Kubuntu 14.04 64Bit Linux OS.

Will you update the Linux SDK download to fix this problem?
